Daughter opened this morning for her birthday and we can’t get the scooter to unfold at all, the instructions don’t have any description to go with the basic arrows so unclear if we have to pull the handles away from the wheel first before lifting up or if it should just lift up, either way doesn’t seem to work and we have one very frustrated and sad toddler :-/

You need to pull the slider upwards at the base of the handles,  this may be a little stiff at first and advise to stand upright with the Scootie on the floor.  It should just lift up
